"Y" City Shuttles

The Ouachita Trail provides easy access to the Ouachita Trail. Hikers and Mountain Bikers can be shuttled from the "Y" City Mountain Inn to one of several Trailheads, either dropping your vehicle at your destination, or allowing you to ride/hike back to the Y-City Mountain Inn.

You can enjoy either the Wolf Pinnacle section of the Ouachita Trail, or the Foran Gap section of the Ouachita Trail.  Distances of 9 to 28 miles are available.

• Road 76- Provides 19 miles of ridge-top trail to Hwy 71.
  Makes a great two-day hike or a great day adventure for the experienced mountain biker.
  (4 to 6 hour ride)
• Hwy 270 at Big Brushy- Provides 28 miles of ridge top trail to Hwy 71.
  Makes a great two to three day hike or a great all day adventure for the experienced mountain biker.
  (5 1/2 to 7 1/2 hour ride)

• Road 516 at Eagleton- Provides 10 miles of trail over Fourche Mountain.  Great day hike or ride.
  (3 to 4 hour ride)
• Hwy 270 near Rich Mountain Community- Provides 13 miles of trail over Fourche Mountain.  Great one or two day hike, or half day ride.
  (4 to 6 hour ride)
